Mary and Adam met locking their bikes up outside class on the first day of medical school. Sounds like something straight out of a romance novel, doesn’t it?

On their wedding day, I met Mary at her childhood home. Surrounded by family and childhood memories, I could feel the excitement and anticipation. Mary glowed - comfortable in the home she had grown up in - excited to build a life and a new home with Adam. After Mary dressed, we made our way over to Lincoln Park Conservatory. The room looked amazing and Adam waited with a big smile, his soft voice saying "I can't wait to see her.”

After the ceremony, the three of us walked to Salvatore’s for their reception. On this walk, I witnessed their love unfold. It’s in those quiet moments, unbothered by the world around them, that I get a glimpse into a couple's private life. After an intimate portrait session, we headed to the reception, which overflowed with joy and laughter. Mary's mom sang a beautiful song, the speeches captivated everyone, and the celebration of their new life began.
